The new director of the Chersonese Tauride nature reserve, Archpriest Sergius Khalyuta, appointed by the governor of Sevastopol, resigned, Interfax reports . The position of acting director will be taken by Larisa Sedikova, who was previously deputy director. The resignation occurred against the backdrop of a scandal - the former director of the scientific complex, a specialist in underwater archeology, Andrei Kulagin, was removed from his position without explanation.
