In the Netherlands, euthanasia was allowed for a girl who survived sexualized violence
The Dutch euthanasia commission has approved the euthanasia of a young woman suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. The commission's report notes that the woman's age ranges from 20 to 30 years. According to The Independent, a resident of the Netherlands suffered from chronic depression, hallucinations and anorexia after experiencing sexualized abuse as a child. She underwent intensive psychotherapy, but, according to the attending doctors, her condition could hardly improve.
