German scientists have created technology to read the thoughts of completely paralyzed people
An international group of scientists, which included specialists from Germany, China and America, managed to develop a technology based on a brain-computer interface that, for the first time, made it possible to establish communication with completely paralyzed people. Patients can still answer simple yes and no questions, according to a study published in the journal Plos One. Communication is a major challenge for people suffering from motor neurone disorder.
