In Buffalo, America, hockey fans set a record for the longest match - one game lasted more than ten days. They managed to raise $1.2 million to help cancer patients, reports the Associated Press. The game lasted 10 days, 10 hours, three minutes and 21 seconds and ended with a score of 1725:1697. Forty athletes from the Buffalo Recreational League played non-stop, taking turns replacing each other. The teams were divided into groups of seven players who played for four hours.
