A social movement to combat harassment has emerged in the United States
More than 300 women working in the theater, film and television industries in the United States have founded the Time's up movement, which will provide support to victims of sexual harassment. BBC News reports this. Participants in the movement intend to defend “gender equality in film studios and job search agencies for actors, directors, models, and musicians.” They also hope to push for laws to be introduced that would allow companies with a history of harassment to be fined.
