The Ministry of Health named the regions of Russia with the highest and lowest mortality rates
Based on the results of 2017, the Russian Ministry of Health compiled a rating of regions with the highest and lowest mortality rates. As Izvestia reports , the lowest mortality rate was observed in Ingushetia, Chechnya, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Dagestan and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - from 3.2 to 6.2 cases per thousand people. The highest mortality rates are in the Pskov, Novgorod, Tver, Tula and Ivanovo regions - from 15.8 to 17.4 cases.
