It is great when civil applications informing society about various aspects of life, arise from the supply of power, “from above”. The fact itself pleases, but are they realized well, and most importantly, for what? One of the controversial examples is the interactive map of the Moscow Water, showing the quality of Moscow tap water. Data on the state of tap water tied to a particular street and even to a particular house, it would seem, are intended for ordinary users, residents of this house.
