Netflix shares fall 25% after losing subscribers for the first time in 10 years
The number of paid Netflix subscribers has decreased by 200,000, according to the company's reporting for the first quarter of the year. As noted in the document, one of the reasons for this result is the suspension of work in Russia: because of this, Netflix lost 700,000 subscribers. In general, the service now has 221.6 million of them. In the second quarter, the service predicts a reduction in the subscription base by another 2 million.
