Kudrin predicted a “very difficult” situation in the Russian economy in the next two years
The decline in Russian GDP in 2022, according to preliminary estimates of the Ministry of Economic Development, will be from 8.8% to 12.4% with inflation of 20.7%, said the head of the Accounts Chamber Alexei Kudrin, speaking at a meeting of the Federation Council. “It is expected that its [economy] fall at the end of this year, according to preliminary, yet discussed estimates of the Ministry of Economic Development, will be 8.8%, and according to a more conservative scenario - 12.4%.
