“The Project” spoke about an attempt to seize Holcim’s Russian assets using a deepfake
In August, The Bell spoke about a man named Yevgeny Kostyukevich, who presented himself as the new owner of the Russian factories of the Swiss Holcim Group, one of the largest manufacturers of building materials in the world. Kostyukovich had previously been repeatedly convicted of crimes like theft of a chainsaw, and could hardly actually qualify for the purchase of a large business. In Holcim itself, what was happening was called an attempt at a raider takeover.
