Snowden: The special services of the United States and Britain hacked billions of SIM cards
The Intercept reported that it received from Edward Snowden documents indicating a cyber attack organized by the US National Security Agency and the British Government Communication Center, as a result of which the individual codes of the largest manufacturer of SIM cards Gemalto copied. Its customers are about 450 mobile operators around the world, including giants such as At & T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Orange, China Telecom and many others. Gemalto also produces part of the SIM cards for MTS.
