Dvorkovich was elected President FIDE
Former Deputy Prime Minister, member of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Chess Federation, Arkady Dvorkovich, won the election of the President of the International Chess Federation, RIA Novosti reports. In the election of President FIDE, representatives of the chess federations of 185 countries vote, each of which manages one vote. Four more countries - Antigua and Barbud, Haiti, Bulgaria and Serbia - do not have votes.
