The Russian aluminum industry was dependent on Chinese imports after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Deliveries from China Clay, which is raw materials for the production of aluminum, have grown 900 times. If in April 2021, China exported only 136 tons of clay in the Russian Federation, then in April 2022-already 123.8 thousand tons, Kommersant cites Chinese customs data. At the same time, back in January and February, Russia purchased symbolic 377 and 320 tons of clayema in China.
