The Russian army captured Kherson in early spring, all this time the occupiers actively fought against dissent. After the liberation of the city, the SBU discovered torture chambers and hundreds of graves. Residents of Kherson told The Insider how the military kidnapped and tortured people in basements, took away cars, robbed houses and forced them to work for the occupation authorities, threatening to shoot them.
