The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, who headed the government for 12 years, resigned. According to Euronews, the prime minister and the government will fulfill their duties until new elections, which will be held later this year. The ruling coalition broke up the day before, not being able to agree on the issue of reception of refugees.
