In Mariupol, at least 8 thousand people died during the city’s occupation by the Russian military, according to the report by Human Rights Watch, as well as investigators from Situ Research and Truth Hounds. The report is based on almost two-year research conducted by Human Rights Watch and Truth Hounds, leading the Ukrainian human rights organization, as well as on 3D reconstructions, visual and spatial analysis, carried out by the situ Research.
