Burkina Faso asked Russia to accept it into BRICS. The country is ruled by a military junta supported by Russian mercenaries
The authorities of Burkina Faso have asked Russia to join BRICS, RIA Novosti reports . This, according to the country's Prime Minister Apollinaire Joachim Kjelem de Tambela, is necessary in order to combat the “domination of the dollar and the euro”, as well as build “fairer trade relations” on the world stage. In May, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger created a confederation and turned to the Russian Federation for support, ending relations with France.
