The President of Croatia could not be determined in the first round of elections, the second will take place
After processing all the ballots, according to the Croatian State Election Commission, none of the country's presidential candidates was able to receive more than 50% of the votes. The second round of elections will take place on January 12, 2025. Current President Zoran Mitrovic, an opponent of NATO expansion and military assistance to Ukraine, received 49.09% of the vote, while his closest rival Dragan Primorac, representing the ruling Croatian Democratic Party, received 19.35%.
