In Lithuania, which has stopped buying Russian gas in 2022, the ammonia produced from gas continues from the Russian Federation, reports Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT). According to the above data, over the past three years (from the beginning of 2022 to the end of the first quarter of 2025), a Russian ammonia has received € 157.3 million in the Baltic country. As they found out in LRT, the Russian ammonia is bought by the Lithuanian manufacturer of Achema nitrogen fertilizers.
