On July 10, the court in Rotterdam sentenced a 43-year-old Russian to 3 years in prison, finding guilty of violation of sanctions legislation, theft of commercial secrets and transferring it to Russia, writes Bloomberg. After serving the sentence, he will be prohibited from entering the Netherlands for 20 years. According to the prosecution, convicted from 2015 to 2024 worked in several Dutch companies engaged in the production of microchips, in particular, ASML and NXP Semiconductors.
