Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists and Tuaregs carried out the biggest coordinated attacks in Mali in years
On April 25, coordinated attacks on military targets took place in the capital of Mali, Bamako, and several regions of the country. According to Reuters and RFI , the attacks hit, in particular, the largest army base in Kati near the capital, where explosions occurred in the morning and intense shooting took place for several hours. Attacks were also recorded in Kidal, Gao, Sevare and Mopti.
