The Insider counted 363 claims for 21 billion rubles against the manufacturer of SJ-100 and MS-21 PJSC Yakovlev. Their serial production was postponed to 2027
On May 7, the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, at a meeting with Vladimir Putin, said that serial production of the MS-21 and SJ-100 will begin in 2027. A day earlier, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, said that the SJ-100 could begin regular flights before the end of 2026. This is not the first postponement of the release of the SJ-100 and MS-21: in 2024, Chemezov reported that the release of the MS-21 was moved to 2025, and the SJ-100 to 2026.
