Chinese startups used levitation to improve sound quality
Crazybaby, based in Shenzhen, has crowdfunded more than $74,000 of its $100,000 goal for a Bluetooth speaker with a floating speaker in just one day. The device, called The Mars, is a speaker consisting of two parts: a floating disc-shaped speaker and a cylindrical subwoofer. According to the creators, magnetic levitation allows not only to avoid losses in sound quality due to vibrations, but also to ensure uniform volume distribution in all directions.
