Don’t renounce the “children’s plague”
The Russian Ministry of Health declares: by 2010, one of the most common infections - measles - will be completely eliminated in the country. This year, Russians under 35 years of age should be the first to receive the measles vaccine. But Tomsk may fall out of this action. Today, the city has almost no needed vaccines. Recently, in our region there are fewer cases of measles than in Russia. Last year, for example, only three cases of “childhood plague” (also called measles) were recorded.
