“Love is the main enemy of fascism” / Appeal from Pavel Kushnir, who recently died in a pre-trial detention center
On July 28, 2024, pianist, writer and anti-war activist Pavel Kushnir died in a pre-trial detention center in Birobidzhan. Pavel was arrested for a video on a YouTube channel with five subscribers, but he did not live to see the verdict. Nine days before his death, a court in Birobidzhan fined pianist Pavel Kushnir under a protocol of contempt for Putin.
