Radical nationalist arrested

On August 8, 2009, the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow granted the petition of the investigative department of the FSB of Russia to arrest the general director of Kudinovo Trading House LLC Anton ("Fly") Mukhachev (close to the "Northern Brotherhood"). A warrant was issued for his arrest for two months.

Mukhachev is a suspect in a criminal case initiated by the FSB Investigation Department on March 2, 2009 under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of an extremist community).

According to investigators, in 2006 Mukhachev and other unidentified persons created the Northern Brotherhood group. Mukhachev "involved new members in it, posted materials about the organization on its website and coordinated its work." In addition, the investigators charged Fly with the organization of the Internet project "Big Game" , which, according to the conclusions of the FSB Institute of Forensic Science, contributes to the incitement of national hatred.

On August 8, 2009, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The court agreed with the arguments of the investigation that, being at large, the suspect can destroy evidence, put pressure on witnesses and abscond from justice. The FSB officers presented documents to the court, according to which the detainee does not live at the place of his registration, he has a Ukrainian passport, and in addition, they showed printouts of wiretapping of the suspect’s phone, which showed that while the operatives were fiddling with the front door to his apartment, he was giving orders to his "comrades-in-arms" about the destruction of compromising files on the Internet.

Recall that on August 4, 2009, in Zheleznodorozhny (Moscow region), a search was conducted in the apartment of Olga "Matilda" Kasyanenko (former chief of staff of the Red Blitzkrieg group) and her husband Anton "Fly" Mukhachev. They were taken to the police station to testify. Kasyanenko was released on the same day, and Mukhachev was detained for 72 hours - until a court decision on the possibility of his arrest.
