In Chita, the prosecutor's office demands blocking sites with prohibited materials

June 29 2012, it became known that the prosecutor's office of the Ingodinsky district of Chita sent the court eight statements demanding to oblige the provider OJSC Rostelecom block access to sites containing materials recognized as extremist.

As a reminder, we consider it unacceptable to restrict access to the site in its entirety if it contains certain prohibited materials, despite the fact that the Supreme Court considers such a practice reasonable. From our point of view, the blocking of a site is justified only after it has been recognized as extremist.
