Muromchanin was punished for the song "Synagogue" in the social network.
On May 17, 2017, the prosecutor's office of the Vladimir region reported that a resident of Murom was fined under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (storage of extremist materials for the purpose of mass distribution) for the song of the group "The Ensemble of Christ the Savior and Mother Earth Cheese", which he kept on his page on the social network.
The Murom city prosecutor's office established that he had saved on the VKontakte social network an audio file with the song "Synagogue", the video for which was banned by the Central District Court of the city of Kemerovo on May 30, 2014 and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials under number 2443.
In the song "Synagogue" of the "Christ the Savior Ensemble", the lyrical hero claims that the Jews are to blame for all the problems and they need to be destroyed. However, this idea is presented in a satirical manner characteristic of the band, so we doubt the expediency of banning the song. It is impossible to rule out that such a text could be taken seriously by the publisher of the song and distributed for the purpose of anti-Semitic propaganda, however, in this case, we do not have information about the context of the publication, so we are not sure about the legality of the persecution of the Murom resident.
