Maxim Martsinkevich became famous in the mid-2000s, becoming the most famous propagandist of neo-Nazism on the Russian Internet. In the Autobiographical Book “Restructure”, published in Samizdat in 2012, Martsinkevich wrote what comes from a family of engineers and studied at the builder engineer at the Moscow State Construction University, but he was expelled due to “political activity”. He was allegedly not taken into the army for the same reasons, commissovering with a “white ticket”.
As a teenager, Martsinkevich was fond of interpretanism, but made friends with the skinheads-Nazis; So his views were radicalized. The mentor of the unfinished student was the leader of the Nazi-Skinheads group “Russian goal” Semen Tokmakov, nicknamed Bus. Convicted in the late 1990s for a fight with a black marine from the security of the US Embassy, Tokmakov was the most media racist in Russia at that time. Other radical neo-Nazis at that time created closed associations like the “OB-88” or a branch of prohibited in Russia for the extremism of the international network Blood and Honour-for organizing “direct action shares” (for example, attacks on markets with merchants from the Caucasus and Central Asia). At the same time, they were engaged in the propaganda of Nazi ideas among football fans and subcultural youth.
Tokmakov, on the other hand, was eagerly distributing an interview with television journalists and even organized staged promotions and events for them for money. As he later recognized the publication of The Insider, such productions for materials about Russian neo-Nazis were in demand, and the ultra-right National Party (NNP) created in many respects for money from reporters in many respects.
However, after the conflict with his associates, the 20-year-old Martsinkevich, who received the nickname Tesac, decided to create his own association to propagate his radical views on the then-developed Internet-the creative studio “Format-18”. By 2005, a neo -Nazi created the site of the forum of the forum with like -minded people from different cities and began to conduct a regularly updated video blog, which published both real and staged videos with racist attacks, brutal beatings and murders of migrants and homeless people. From the very beginning, Martsinkevich relied on attracting attention to himself as the most radical human -naval statements. Among the first videos was, for example, a mocking report from the action of the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in Beslan, in which Marcinkevich insulted the dead children with obscene abuse.
Gradually, a community of the most radical nationalists has developed around the Format-18 site. “There is a feeling that a certain number of demonstrative shares of young neo-Nazis were committed specifically for the video with them to be published by the Format-18 studio,” the researcher of radical nationalism from the Center for “Owl” Alexander Verkhovsky explained in an interview with the “Kommersant”. - Not to mention the fact that the video that Martsinkevich posted - both real and fake - had to serve as a role model. And it seems they served. " Marcinkevich himself did not deny this. In his book, he describes meetings with prisoners convicted of murders on which they were inspired by Tesak's videos. Many of them received lifelong terms.
Dmitry Rumyantsev, the creator of the National Socialist Society (NSO), later prohibited in Russia, noted the new media person among the ultra-right. He offered Tesak his support in exchange for help in the construction of a mass political organization that openly propagates Nazism. The NSO really became the most massive ultra -right organization of zero in Russia, but by the end of the decade it was completely defeated by special services - after a series of criminal cases against its participants involved in dozens of racist murders.
The Tesac himself was arrested a little earlier than most of the associates in the NSO - in July 2007 he was detained on charges of paragraph 2 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (arousal of hatred with the threat of violence). The reason for the criminal case was the statement to the prosecutor's office of the participants in the movement "Democratic Alternative" by Alexei Navalny, Maria Gaidar and Oleg Kozyrev. They demanded to deal with Tesak's antics on the debate of publicists Yulia Latynina and Maxim Kononenko in the Bilingva club. During the discussion on the topic “Where are the Democrats?”, Which Navalny led, a little more than a dozen skinheads led by Martsinkevich, who began to be rude to the assembled, scatter their hands in a Nazi greeting and shouting: “Zig Hale!” In February 2008, Martsinkevich was sentenced to three years in a penal colony.
In 2009, while he was serving his sentence, he was again convicted of the video “Format-18” with a staging of the execution of the “Tajik drug dealer”. Another six -year colony was added to the deadline of Martsinkevich. Tesak was released in 2011 and decided to continue his career as a video blogger, switching to public actions against pedophiles - or rather, those whom he announced. His outwardly the apolitical project “Pearn Pedoofili”, named by analogy with the then powerful protest movement in the United States, quickly gained popularity among the new generation of Russian ultra-right.
At that time, young Russian neo-Nazis, taught by the experience of their predecessors, were already afraid to create political communities with the clearly declared goals of national socialism or arrange attacks on foreigners. In addition to the Safari organization, on the alleged pedophiles with “baits” in the form of minor associates, Tesac began to earn a living by conducting paid seminars, at which he told how nationalists to behave correctly in prison, or promoted theft of goods from supermarkets.
After mass protests against the falsification of elections to the State Duma at the end of 2011, Tessac unsuccessfully tried to get into the coordination council of the opposition, not hiding that the trollite in this way were liberal politicians who headed protests. Approximately then, at the invitation of the director Ilya Khrzhanovsky, together with the associates-neonacists, he participated in the filming of the DAU project. The episode with Tesak was released in February 2020 under the name “Dau. Degeneration ".
Martsinkevich systematized his views after imprisonment in the same book “Restructure!”. Later, his supporters united in the movement of the same name, part of which became the Pearn-Pedophilay projects, “Drugfilia”-against merchants of smoking mixtures and “evict”-against illegal migrants. Their activities were actively covered by REN-TV and NTV television channels. In addition to paid seminars, Martsinkevich launched his own financial pyramid for Tesakmoney under the slogan “Do not believe! Don't be afraid! Do not work! ”
In November 2013, after a search in the apartment of Father Martsinkevich, he first left for Ukraine, where he established ties with local ultra -right and arranged new Safari with public humiliation of gays, then to Belarus and finally to Cuba. In Russia, he was arrested in absentia and put on an international wanted list on charges under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation 282 for several videos - including one called “The Tesac on the film“ Stalingrad ”and the situation in Biryulyovo - with the usual antimigrant, racist and neo -Nazi rhetoric. In January 2014, the Cuban security forces detained Tesak for staying in the country without a visa and issued to Russia. In August of the same year, the Kuntsevsky district court condemned him to five years in prison. Later, this period was reduced for appeals in the Moscow City Court - up to two years and nine months.
At the same time, the security forces began the defeat of the "Restructure". The reason was the murder of a native of Azerbaijan Zair Alyshev, whom in June 2014 the activists of the movement scored to death, suspecting the “spice” in trade. The case was opened under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation . In July, the special forces fighters in masks broke to the congress in the concert hall of the Izmailovo Hotel and detained several participants in the Restructure involved in the murder of Alyshev. In October of the same year, the Chertanovsky court of Moscow recognized the book "Restructure!" extremist material.
After a long investigation , Tesak was charged with new charges under Article 282 of the Criminal Code - for the book "Restructure!" And the audiobook "Destructure". He was also accused of robbery, hooliganism and damage to someone else's property - for the “Safari” to the native of Tajikistan, whom the “Restruktsy” suspected for the sale of drugs, beaten, deprived of his mobile phone and forced to eat “spice” allegedly found. On June 27, 2017, the Grandmother's court of Moscow sentenced Martsinkevich to 10 years in a maximum security colony.
During the serving of his last prison term, Tessac admitted that over the years spent in prison, he did not abandon his racist views, but began to sympathize with the ideas of libertarianism . “All the current political parties (except, we must think, Libertarian) want certain benefits from the state, some - raising payments to pensioners, others - social guarantees, others - supporting business, fourth - to strengthen the crossbreaks and get up from the knees. <...> Everyone wants money from the state. And where will it get them? He will take it, of course, from everyone else. There are no more sources. Thus, everyone demands to rob others and give the looted by him, ”he wrote in November 2018 in his letter to his comrades -in -arms. In him, he admitted that in prison he first read the “Gulag Archipelago” Alexander Solzhenitsyn. “If I read the“ Gulag ”before I wrote“ Restructure ”, then I would not even start!” - wrote Martsinkevich.
In 2018, Tessac gave a large interview to Lenta.ru, in which he said that in case of release, he plans to leave Russia and abandon its citizenship. “I do not want to have anything to do with this state and its politics,” Martsinkevich assured. There he also talks about the evolution of his ultra-right views: “... we are talking about the ideology of national socialism. With Socialism, I explained the situation for myself and completely reject it. With “nationalism” is more complicated, but many of its aspects are unacceptable to me. I am Russian, but if you take the social attitudes of the Russian nation, then, I am afraid, there are very few coincidences. Heterosexualism and Russian. All".
Talking about the purpose of his life, Martsinkevich said that “people's life goals are determined by the fear of death”: “Children, wealth, art - anything. It must be understood that all this is only a desire to extend your life for the threshold of your own death. ” According to Tesak, he certainly did not see himself as a family man, “neither kind nor evil,” but he dreamed “beautifully” to die: “Like Viking - in battle! Or on a girl. Or freeze at the top of Everest. Although, by and large, it doesn’t matter. ”
