Valdai: Text from the free e-book library website is prohibited

The court declared the text of the article "Istislav" from the website of the free library of electronic books forbidden for distribution.

In July 2023, the Valdai District Court of the Novgorod Region announced that it had considered an administrative case based on a lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor of the Valdai District of the Region to recognize the book The Great War: Truth Against Fiction as prohibited for distribution in Russia.

Earlier, the prosecutor's office found on the website of the free e-book library fb2.top the book "The Great War: Truth Against Fiction" from the collection of articles "Istislav" "Myths of Patriots".

This collection was recognized as extremist by the Salekhard City Court of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District on November 26, 2020 and was added to the federal list of extremist materials under item 5156. , the Negroid race, the peoples of Central Asia, the Caucasus, Transcaucasia.

The court satisfied the requirements of the administrative plaintiff and recognized the information on this page as prohibited for distribution in Russia, which is the basis for including this web page in the Unified Register of Domain Names, Site Page Pointers on the Internet and Network Addresses that Allow to Identify Sites on the Internet “Internet” containing information, the dissemination of which is prohibited in the Russian Federation”.
