The Israeli government unanimously supported the proposal to recognize the mass extermination of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire during the First World War as genocide. The author of the initiative was the country's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar. The decision was made at a cabinet meeting on Sunday 28 June. Next, the document must be ratified by parliament. “It’s never too late to take the right step,” Saar emphasized after the vote.

The Russian government allocated more than 385 million rubles from the reserve fund to Dagestan and Chechnya. The funds will be used to pay residents of the republics affected by floods. According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the money will cover the regions' expenses for material assistance to people who have partially or completely lost their property. In addition, in June alone, more than 2.8 billion rubles were allocated to eliminate the consequences of natural disasters and pay victims.

A summer recreation program for Ukrainian children has started in Georgia. The first group has already arrived in the country - children of military personnel, as well as children left without parents as a result of the war in Ukraine.
