Daily magazine: Niyazbek
"Daily Journal" publishes excerpts from the new Niyazbek novel by Yulia Latinina, who had just published in the publishing house Eksmo. The main character of this book never wanted to be a rebel and a separatist. He just lived, as Allah and the adats of his homeland ordered. When his brother was blown up, he did not leave the mosque until he finished the prayer. When he saved a high -ranking Russian official from the Chechen captivity - he did not even stop to name his name.

Not peace, but a sword
A response has already come from the Patriarchate. “The majority of Russian citizens call themselves believers. Why should they be denied the opportunity to hear the word “God” that is dear to them in the national anthem?” - said the deputy head of the DECR, Rev. Vsevolod Chaplin. However, according to surveys, the majority of Russian citizens call themselves not “believers”, but “Orthodox”, without thinking about any God.

Great October French Revolution
Around Russia Great October French Revolution November 9, 2005 Anton Orech Every empire sooner or later reaps the fruits of its imperialism. For almost two weeks in France, something that can no longer be called just riots , even massive ones. The reason was to say, sad, but the death of two guys hiding from, apparently, a fair police persecution, still nothing more than a reason. So, immigrant communities simply waited for the signal. Already just any signal.

Not a mistake, but a strategy
According to the victims, in the case of Nurpashi Kulaev, the only militant who survived the terrorist attack, the “wrong” witnesses are called to court, and the former and current leaders of the republic remain aloof from the process. The comments addressed to the Deputy Prosecutor General should help correct the mistakes, the mothers of the dead children believe. It is naive to consider what is happening now in court as a delusion of the authorities.

Daily Journal: We've passed
In June, three Chechens ((http://newsru.com/russia/09nov2005/pankis.html) were sentenced by the Supreme Court of Chechnya to terms of 9 to 15 years in prison for “illegal carrying of weapons,” “crossing the border,” etc. The Supreme Court of Russia rejected the cassation appeal of the convicts and their lawyers to overturn the sentence imposed with procedural violations and send the case for a new trial.

Moscow - Paris
So, in Moscow - the holiday of Russian national unity (RNE). In Paris, the next series of The War of Civilizations, so far at the hooligan level. Who inspires you more: the Nazis are shabby -headed - or the Nazis are dark -skinned? (Of course, the Arabs can be called “hooligans.” Skinhedov is also called that. It seems unjust to me both in relation to the first and in relation to the latter.) Brittle -headed threaten, dark -skinned ones act.

Observers from their own
The Public Chamber will have the right to initiate “a discussion of issues of compliance with freedom of speech in the media.” As noted in the explanatory note to the bill, we are talking about the possibility of sending conclusions to registration, supervisory or law enforcement agencies. Obviously, the authorities hope that the journalists included in the Chamber will determine the required degree of transparency.

Looking to the West
The plan also includes reducing the cost of registration and work permits. The message, which appeared in the days when, following France, the “immigrant rebellion” swept across several European countries at once, looks like an attempt to appease Russian foreigners in advance.

By thread to the world
Starting from the new year, the “children’s” allowance for Muscovites will increase from the current 70 to 150 rubles per month. Payments for children from military families will increase from 105 to 225 rubles, and single mothers will receive 300 instead of the previous 140 rubles. In total, the Moscow government plans to spend about 23 billion rubles on modifying the social program in 2006.
