Higher and higher
The new version became known from a letter from one of those accused of involvement in the murder to Paul Klebnikov’s brother, Michael. As Vremya Novostey writes, notary Fail Sadredinov, having familiarized himself with the case materials, which included a special FBI report, spoke about a certain professional investigation of Khlebnikov, in comparison with which all the others are characterized as a “trifle,” and the Berezovsky case “seems like child’s play.” .

Deal with claims
The claims of the Italian prosecutor’s office against Pavel Borodin’s daughter Ekaterina Siletskaya and a number of other Russian citizens revived the “Mabetex case,” which was sensational in the late 90s. In the Borodino circle, this is already being interpreted as some kind of conspiracy against the Union of Russia and Belarus, of which Pal Palych currently holds the rank of Secretary of State.

Ridiculous indulgence
382 parliamentarians voted for the adoption of the bill, 4 were against, and one abstained. According to the document, if several parties receive an equal number of deputy mandates, then each of them will be able to submit a candidacy for consideration by parliament, and the one that receives the largest number of votes from deputies of the regional parliament will be sent to the election of the president.

Spas TV channel suffers losses
It is very difficult to reach a consensus on the “acceptable and unacceptable ways of missionary activity” on television, especially if the missionary skills of the channel’s creators are far from perfect. Which, in fact, became the topic of conversation between the parties - presenters Yuliana Godik and Alena Dushka and so on. Maxim Kozlov with the head of the TV channel Ivan Demidov and program editor Olga Lyubimova.

Oath of allegiance
If the latest events in France cause alarm, to put it mildly, then the reaction to them in the Russian media is a mixture of disgust and horror. Disgust comes from primitivism and intellectual poverty of comments issued not by skinheads of the “right march”, but by people who understand themselves and, in part, are accepted by others as the salt of the Russian enlightened class. The horror comes from the same thing.

There is no society, one chamber ...
It would be indecent to put the heading to the text of the “Mind of the Chamber”. Whoever from the writing fraternity has neither off the mental and other abilities of such a carefully created indication from above, and therefore a completely public “public chamber”. And if the ward is not the mind, then what? Control. For what? The means of information, of course. Behind the "box", that is, for television, first of all.

Where they didn't expect it
A local priest ((http://ej.ru/comments/entry/2233/ Sergei Taratukhin)), himself a former political prisoner, refused to consecrate the prayer room created by the colonists as a sign of protest against the conviction of Khodorkovsky, whose trial he considers political. Bishop Eustathius of Chita and Transbaikal has already responded to the decision of Father Sergius, which, according to the bishop, “reflects only his personal civic position,” and not at all the opinion of the church.

Sequel from Captivity
In the article “Left Turn-2”, published in Kommersant, the ex-head of Yukos describes the crisis that awaits Russia even before 2008. “We need that left turn. To overcome the pathological, cosmic alienation between the elites and the people, the government and those whom this government rules,” says Khodorkovsky. The proposals he puts forward may well take shape in an election program. But even if Khodorkovsky is released before 2008, only a complete acquittal will allow him to run.

No matter what happens
The initiator of the appeal to the Ministry of Justice with a corresponding request was the LDPR deputy Alexey Mitrofanov. Most parliamentarians supported the idea. As it turned out, the deputies do not care about the prisoner at all, but about peace in the now famous colony in the Chita region. According to Mitrofanov, Khodorkovsky should have been put “on a desert island in the Pskov region,” otherwise “a person with that kind of money could mobilize and create a criminal army.”

Drag verdict
On November 2, the Moscow City Court acquitted four transplant doctors from City Hospital No. 20, accused of illegally removing donor organs. The scandal erupted in April 2003 when investigators interrupted an operation to remove a kidney from a patient who, according to the prosecution, was still alive. And today the capital’s prosecutor’s office filed a cassation appeal against the acquittal to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
