Mayors and thieves
In society Mayors and thieves December 18, 2009 Alexander Podrabinek “What will the migrant do 90 days if he has not found a job? He will engage in theft or robbery, ”said Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, speaking on December 15 at a meeting of the city government. Luzhkov knows what he says. The logic here is clear, it is applicable to various situations. What, for example, will do a former Soviet official, becoming the mayor of some very large city?

Sovereign in the city of Zero
In society Sovereign in the city of Zero December 18, 2009 Leonid Radzikhovsky Egor Gaidar is a certain historical figure. Of course, they will write about him in a completely different way, but all of Russia will be written-the scale of his affairs is qualitatively larger than that of Stolypin or Witte, not to mention Speransky. Unless Alexander II, and even then-the 1991 reform was more significant than 1861.

Reasonable spending
Only the Lord himself can write such jokes. Russia paid the “state of Nauru” $50 million. for “recognition of Abkhazia” and – let’s hope for wholesale discounts – South Ossetia. Literally THE OTHER DAY information appeared that Russia does not have money to restore houses in South Ossetia! Moscow explains that all the allocated money... ummm... has been spent... and out of 3,500 destroyed houses, 100 have been restored.

Three days in December
Since 1979, my friends and I began to celebrate L.I.’s birthday every year. Brezhnev. I don’t remember who, how and why this idea came to mind. But every year before and even, in my opinion, a couple of years after his death (we commemorated) on December 19, we gathered at my house to express our feelings of love and respect to “dear Leonid Ilyich” in a close circle.

To the anniversary of Stalin: Patient of the Russian Federation
Actually, for such formulations, they give us around the neck: "On this day, Stalin could have turned 130 years old." Because “it could” is wrong. 130 years - could not. But with respect to Stalin, the wording is quite correct. I would even clarify: on this day, Stalin turned 130 years old. He is alive! He is among us! Are we alive? I will tell you one story. For many years this person was known in the scientific world simply as HM or “HM patient”.

This is like a knife blow!
In society This is like a knife blow! December 18, 2009 Oleg Kozyrev Bloggers were one of the first to respond to the death of an economist, the policy of Yegor Gaidar. "Daily Journal" gives some of these reviews. This is like a knife blow! The leader who did not want power, but understood the need from time to time to take responsibility, when others, tearing and tearing to power, do everything possible to avoid this responsibility.
