On Thursday, the Zaporizhia NPP for the first time in its history was completely disconnected from power supply, and the largest cities in the Russian-occupied territories of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine were left without electricity. Light disappeared in Kherson, Melitopol, Energodar, Berdyansk, New Kakhovka. Due to the shutdown of pumping stations, water supply was partially cut off. There were also interruptions in mobile communications.
