Ukraine fined Russian airlines $17 million for flights to Crimea
The State Aviation Service of Ukraine fined Russian airlines $17 million for flights to Crimea. The service issued 1923 resolutions on recovery. Among those fined were Aeroflot, Rossiya, Ural Airlines, Donavia, as well as the special flight squad Rossiya, which serves the first officials of Russia. The fines must be paid to the budget of Ukraine, the report says. TASS After Russia declared Crimea its own territory, Ukraine closed the airspace over the peninsula.
