On January 14, opposition activists staged a popular gathering near the Chistye Prudy metro station in Moscow. The organizers planned an event in support of political prisoners, including Ildar Dadin, who complained about torture, and also demanded that an anti-crisis rally be coordinated. As noted by OVD-Info, soon after the start of the gathering, the police began to detain those who had gathered. According to the latest data, more than 30 people have been detained.
