From March 25, 2001, Russians will be able to travel to five more countries in Europe on Schengen visas
According to the decision of the European Union, from March 25, 2001, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden are connected to the Schengen agreement. In this regard, starting from the end of March, the northern countries will apply Schengen visa norms in full, including in relation to Russian citizens. According to the press center of the Russian Foreign Ministry today, visas issued by consular institutions of the northern countries will become valid for entering all other Schengen states.
