The Presnensky Court of Moscow sentenced ex-head of the Russian Authors' Society (RAO) Sergei Fedotov to five years in a penal colony in the case of embezzlement of more than 760 million rubles, the press service of the court told Novaya Gazeta. The prosecution requested 5.5 years for Fedotov, notes RIA Novosti . A year and a half under arrest will be credited to him for three in a colony, he will be able to apply for parole.
