In St. Petersburg, a civil activist and a defendant in the case of storage of explosives, Vladimir Ivanyutenko, stopped a hunger strike, which he held for more than a month. The start of a hunger strike in protest against his criminal case and in order to attract public attention, as well as with a demand to release all political prisoners, Ivantyenko announced on February 22.
