Japanese activists set the country's flag on controversial with China Island
A group of Japanese activists landed in the East China Sea on the island of Senkaku, the territory of which China and Japan claims, reports Radio Liberty . Despite the ban on the Japanese authorities and protests of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the flotilla of sailboats with 150 activists, including several deputies, approached the archipelago, and several dozen people landed on one of the islands and established a Japanese flag.
