Udaltsov is free!
Several hundred people (ordinary citizens, activist supporters and journalists) gathered yesterday at the special detention center of the Moscow Central Internal Affairs Directorate on Simferopol Boulevard to meet the leader of the Left Front Sergei Udaltsov and civil activist Yaroslav Nikitenko, who were to be released.

About "Siberia.monamur"
We watched "Siberia. Monamur". A dark, addictive movie with magnificent Siberian expanses and useless people abandoned in these expanses. It’s so scary to see how life there hasn’t changed in 200 years—or rather, it hasn’t gotten there yet. There is no life, but there are people. It would be hard to call them wonderful Russian people - but these are people who are reaching out from darkness and stench towards the light. Whoever has God in his soul has light.

Who, if not...
Even in my friend feed today and generally in recent days, the number of anti-Prokhorov and anti-Naval posts has increased. I can imagine what is happening in LiveJournal outside my attention. Prokhorov - it’s clear that an election campaign is underway. But how can we explain the surge in anti-Naval activity among the generally not pro-Putin public?

I'm a futurist. A child of perestroika province dreams of a better life
Pager Even before school, where I was sent at the age of five, I dreamed of a “cartoon pager.” Cartoons were rarely shown (you learned about this after reading Grishkovets), so as not to miss the next Piggy, it was necessary to strictly organize walking time. As children's hour approached (it was counted from the gut), children prudently flocked to their yards, where the games even slowed down a little. Every now and then shouts were heard: “Mom! Mom!

Ingsoc = Tatsoc. From 1984 to 2012
In George Orwell's famous dystopian novel "1984", the political and economic system of Oceania was called Ingsoc - English socialism. Imagine my surprise when in the capital of Tatarstan I saw a bank with the interesting name Tatsots. Dystopia smiled a sarcastic smile in real life. Considering the authoritarian nature of the government in this Volga region, the name Tatsots does not look like a mere coincidence. But funny, of course.

A conversation with a politician. Part 2. Dragon
G.Ch. Let's change the conversation format in this part. We will exchange judgments that the day (that is, the year) is preparing for us. Compare our assumptions regarding the further course of events? I am not a politician, not my function to develop strategies and offer the answer to the question “What to do?”. Another thing is to guess "what will happen?" This is quite according to the writing part.

Serious offers
What Sergei Udaltsov, who came out of his hospital dungeons, is calling for - the creation of coordination councils - needs to be taken very carefully. He justifies his proposal by the fact that without the coordination of all different opposition forces, the movement will not develop further and may die out - the organization of a spontaneous initiative of the masses is needed.

The mayor of the eagle was expelled from United Russia
The first went! Viktor Safyanov, head of the city administration, was excluded from the ranks of the local branch of the ruling party "United Russia". Such a decision was made by the regional council of "EP", and the reason for him was the conclusion of the commission that Safyanov will discredit the party with his work.
