Babylonian gas construction. Agreement
The Russian project of the South Stream gas pipeline is less and less likely to materialize. Last week, the governments of Turkey, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania signed an agreement in Ankara to build an alternative gas pipeline - Nabucco, named after an ancient Babylonian king. The main goal is to send gas to Europe, bypassing Russia. The last month turned out to be unsuccessful for the Russian gas policy.
