Part of our personal experience
From the editorial office. February 1, 2011 marks the 80th anniversary of the birth of the first President of Russia Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin. The anniversary is already celebrated. In blogs, in the journalistic texts of Yeltsin, they remember with special feelings - albeit different - but always very bright. In memory of this state figure, RSA opens a discussion about the role of the first president in the formation of new Russia.

Two years of the ministry of Patriarch Kirill
On February 1, he has been performed two years since the intronization of Patriarch Kirill, who was elected to the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church at the Local Council on January 27, 2009. During these two years, church life in Russia has been incomparably more intense than in many decades of its historical past.

These notes belong to the pen of one of those who are called "guardians", and are the subject of theoretical introspection. How to think, considering the value of the state, and the state that has developed in the end of the last twenty years? They were provoked by the publication in the last issue of the "expert" of the Inopa report on democracy and impressions from the last few events.

As you want, but the revolution in North Africa is some wrong. Take, for example, Tunisia. The country, perhaps, is not the richest, but in terms of the scale of the “third world” quite successful - from GDP per capita above the Chinese. A formal reason for mass performances in Tunisia was the “sharp” jump in food prices in December. I must say that in Russia, products have grown up exactly the same pace since September, but for some reason no one has risen.
