Almost all religious buildings in the Tyumen region were transferred to religious organizations
In accordance with the decision to transfer objects of historical and cultural heritage of the Tyumen region to religious organizations by June 2004, the transfer of almost all buildings was completed by March. Sedmitsa.ru, citing Regions.ru, reports that all churches, except for the Spassky Cathedral, have been transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church, three buildings have been transferred to Catholics, one to Jews, and all available to Muslims.
