Police officers in the Krasnodar region persecute a family of Meskhetian Turks
On January 8, 2005, in the village of Kholmskaya, Krasnodar Territory, two drunken unknown men broke into the house of the Akhmedov family, Meskhetian Turks participating in the resettlement program in the United States, introducing themselves as police officers (having presented their certificates), threatening the owners with murder and declaring that they "do not see America." The attackers were taken to the local police station, from where they were soon released.
