On December 30, 2005, a native of Azerbaijan was killed in Tyumen. The attack was carried out in the city center near the Tekutievsky cemetery by a group of "skinhead" teenagers. Skinheads beat the victim and inflicted several stab wounds on him, after which the unconscious victim was thrown over the fence of the cemetery. He later died from beatings and frostbite. The body was discovered on January 2 by a passerby.
