On July 1, 2006, in the city of Zhukovka, Bryansk region, a sanctioned march was organized by the Bryansk Movement Against Illegal Immigration (DPNI). The event was attended by representatives of the DPNI from the cities of Bryansk and Orel, members of the youth movement of the nationalist party "Narodnaya Volya", local entrepreneurs. On the night of July 3-4, a mosque belonging to the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the European part of Russia (DUM ER) was blown up in Yakhroma, near Moscow. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. The explosion, according to the testimony of residents of neighboring houses, was heard at about half past three in the night. The main entrance was completely destroyed, the windows and doors of the mosque and the nearby place for ritual ablution were broken.
