Supreme Court upholds verdict in murder of Congolese student
On September 13, 2007, the Supreme Court considered the cassation appeal of lawyers in the case of the murder in St. Petersburg in 2005 of the Congolese student Roland Franz Epassac. The verdict of four convicts in the case was upheld. Recall that Andrei Gerasimov, Yuri Gromov, Andrei Olenev and Viktor Orlov, who were found guilty, received 14, 9.9 and 7 years in prison, respectively.
