In Chuvashia, teenagers drew swastikas on photographs of war participants
In early December 2008, in the city of Kozlovka (Chuvashia), on the Alley of Glory, teenagers drew swastikas with a black marker and wrote "offensive inscriptions" on photographs of participants in the Great Patriotic War. Teenagers were detained by patrolmen. On December 11, 2008, the Department of Internal Affairs for the Kozlovsky District of Chuvashia opened a criminal case under Art. 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (vandalism).
